Cristóbal’s Rating: PASS
- Ugly strip mall and a terrible font choice for the restaurant’s lighted sign
- Dimly lit interiors
- Can be pricey depending how you order
- Nothing particularly Mongolian, as its name would imply
Situated at a corner of a nondescript strip mall off Westheimer, this Chinese hotpot restaurant is one of many large hotpot chains in Asia. A few years ago, finally came to Houston with two restaurants, the other in Chinatown. Hotpot items add up and this place can end up being a hefty bill at the end. The interior is a little dim, but not terrible. The meats and vegetables are pretty good quality–not bad for a Houston establishment.
